Sweet!I'm in. Love me some Colorado. I was planning a trip to CO. this year before I booked the trip to Utah in Sept. We would need a cabin.
And northern New Mexico right before that.Think we may stop and ride in southern Colorado on the way up.
That will be me....some may not be able to do that because there two vehicle is the same as camping vehicle.
Which permit, Colorado’s?I have heard Silverton and Pagosa Springs is UTV friendly. As long as you have the Permit/ OHV decal.
@Koda is out there now. We will talk when he gets back.Which permit, Colorado’s?
Unless you need to go to Durango, I would head up I 25 to Pueblo then turn west on Hwy 50 to Salida and over Monarch Pass and into Gunnison, right on main st. North to Almont, right to Taylor Park.Looking for input on best RV and TT routes in and out of Taylor Park. Want to be able to have info for the people that will be attending.
A few of us will be coming up from the South.
Anyone with experience towing from Durango to Taylor Park would be awesome.

Is that route a good towing/ motorhome route?Unless you need to go to Durango, I would head up I 25 to Pueblo then turn west on Hwy 50 to Salida and over Monarch Pass and into Gunnison, right on main st. North to Almont, right to Taylor Park.
A few of us are going to stop in the LakeCity area for a day or so on the way up. How bad is 550 towing from Durango to Monteose?Unless you need to go to Durango, I would head up I 25 to Pueblo then turn west on Hwy 50 to Salida and over Monarch Pass and into Gunnison, right on main st. North to Almont, right to Taylor Park.
You have to do the Ratan Pass over the New Mexico/Colorado border, it’s not terribly steep, but a pull, and I’d say 8-10 miles up the south side and 6-8 miles down the north side.Is that route a good towing/ motorhome route?
We’re in.....Remember it's in 2019
@Pilgrim any in site on routes in and out of the area would be appreciatedColorado requires a $25.25 permit for all ATV......Lake City and some areas require liability insurance and helmets if under age.....
I may not be going on the trip next year but the aspens usually peak around sept 15.... great time to be there.....
I am going back to Buena Vista... st Elmo area in two weeks ....with a group of ATV guys who still have not figured that belts are to hold up your pants.....
We will be riding the 13..14..15... anyone is welcome to join....
