That can be done easy enough, same premise......just use the 2016 & under final drive gears, they had a lower ratio than the 2017 & up models. It's not a big change though, 2016 was 1.875 : 1, 2020 is 1.818 : 1

Thanks, I cut my off road teeth on a 78 Jeep CJ , 4 speed manual, non syn granny first gear. Slow motion crawl when in 1st and low range. That is what I miss.

Welcome from Ga. They all get brown if driven correctly. Add a front locker an enjoy some crawling hill climbs, and you don’t have to get out like those old manual Warn locking hubs.

Do not have a lot of mud but have lots of rock and grown in trails to get to the out of way fishing spots. Replaced plastic roof with 1/8 aluminum and a 8 inch front extension. A work in progress
