I just finished installing front super atv arms in prperation for 30x14 tires. Was thinking about carnivores too. Running factory wheels with 1" spacers front and 1.5 on rear.

To run 30's with no to very minimum issues you must run front offset arms. Lift is not required but is a nice addition.

With out the arms. You will eat up your front inner wheel wells.

The rears have very light issues on a hard jumps compression but overall will fit.

I thought with factory wheels the front and rear was the same width. If correct, why does the rear spacers need to be .5" wider???

No. There not.
Id have to look it up again. But fronts are like 6.5" and rears 7.5 with weird offsets.

Forgot the second part of your question.
Because you are going from a 9" tire on the front to a 10 and a 11" on rear to a 10".
It makes the rears look like they sit in more than the fronts do.

I want a straight up answer. Will 30-10-14 maxxis carnivores on a 14x7 5+2 wheel work on my 1000-5 deluxe with ONLY the highlifter 2.5 and be functional? And has anyone done this exact setup?
Here is about as close to a exact example as your going to get. Still think its a NO on 30's.

29x9.5x15. Lift kit. Itp Hurcansl wheels. Not sure of offset. No spacers.

I think this will rub at full compression and hard turns. I cant fit hand between the tire and wheel well.

Do you think I would have any issues putting a true 30 inch tire on a p1 with satv a arms and 5+2 offset wheel ?

No problem there. But you'll want rear spacers. I believe I went 1.5" spacers to even it out
