Is a 3500 lb winch big enough for a 1000 3 seat?

Would think so? But, my P700-2 has 4500 on it.

4500 is the smallest I'd go on a P1k

That depends entirely on what you're "stuck" in. High centered, sure that would do it. Stuck in mud, pulling up a steep incline, through rocks, etc. you'll find the limits of a 3500 very quickly. Like others have mentioned, stick with a 4500-5000.

no argument here.i upgraded to a 4500.2k was temporary,but it did work.so will a 3500.if that's what the op already has.
