Well I'm used to spending $$ on old/classic cars, I figured it was time for something different and with the pioneer I get to spend more time with the family. (At least thats how I sold it to they wife)

Better than most truck style tires. Where they really do well is hill climbing, and straight line in the dirt and rocks and sand. Its similar to the tires most run on rock bouncers.

Thanks for the info Plumber. I’m between those, Carnivores, Roctanes and kanati trail masters right now. I do like the open lug design they offer.

Here's a fun story...

We bought my little girl a playhouse for the backyard for Christmas. I got a notification from FedEx that a package was delivered, which was weird since it wasn't supposed to come in until middle of next week. Got home and there's a huge Power Wheels sxs sitting at the door. Figured my parents got it for her or something so I called to thank them but they didn't buy it. Nor did my sister, or brother, or in-laws. Then I started to panic thinking I drunkenly ordered a $500 power wheels from Walmart.com. Nope! No charge, no orders since last year on our Walmart app. So apparently they screwed up and just sent a power wheels sxs to my wife. The box was beat to hell and taped together but there's a big green sxs in there, lol!

Toted Santa and Mrs. Clause around the neighborhood for the Christmas parade. Luckily he wasn't a "true scale" Santa because the tailgate wouldn't have held up

Jerry rigged my antenna on the front bumper for now. Going to get some flat bar and make a mount to put it on the rear ROPS facing down eventually.

My old college buddy was in town from Missouri for the holidays. We put down a few beverages Saturday night then I took him out to my parents to fish and do some blasting. Was a great weekend even with crappy weather!

Finally got around to mounting the TYT-8600. I used a couple of the plastic push pins to hold the mount on and routed the wires behind the dash. Came out better than I expected. Think I'll do a magnetic mount for the mic, just need to see where I want it to live.

I couldn't pull it off by pushing on it or pulling on it, but I ran a ziptie around the mount just in case.
