I like the idea but not a fan of the cordless as it’s always dead when needed the most.

I have one similar to this.

I keep it in my truck with a set of tire plugs. Rides in the atv when on the trail. It’s saved my rear a few times. It takes some time pumping up a truck tire but it’s better than the heel to toe express.

I've seen them in use - that is the air hawk style.
Down side is its not faster than a cigeret lighter plug Wal-Mart special.
And the one I saw you had to hold the trigger on.
The Wal-Mart special style you can flip it on and walk away.

This is the one I carry as I already have a bunch of M12 batteries & tools. Works great, set the desired pressure & hit the inflate button. The pump turns off when the set pressure is reached.

I carry something similar to this, comes with a case. Small and self contained. It's filled several tires, mostly other peoples, for 2 1/2 yrs.

I have one in my truck and have had to use it at the cabin. I came out one morning and had a flat, so I plugged it and inflated with the Hawk. You can turn it on and walk away and it will shut off when it gets to the psi you set it to.
