Lets have one last ride before we have to mount the snow plows!
Quick info:
What: informal one day ride in the middleish of Ohio.
Where: Riding at Perry state Forrest APV area (between Columbus and Zanesville sort of)
When: Sunday October 20th.
The trails
Warning: to ride at Perry you must have Ohio state APV registration. (this is why I am listing this as a state event)
There are some exceptions for street registration or out of state (must have your home state APV registration).
For details consult the Ohio BMV.
State of Ohio BMV
Perry is a relatively small riding area, there are multiple loops from a central staging area.
See the State Forrest web site:

And the map pdf:

Perry is the only state ride area that doesn't require staying on the trails.
There are a few hill climbs and some out law trails (mostly in the southern half)
The only restriction, stay out of the grey mud.
It's some kind of tailings left over from the mining, it will suck you down to the skidplate and not let go.
There is a 62" rule.
A stock p1k fits on the trails just fine.
No gates or anything, don't need @JACKAL to get you threw (Or not).
The ride
My image is, we set up in the staging area (there are a few picnic tables and a vault toilet).
Ride in and out when ever.
Sit around and bs between riding.
This is supper casual run what you brung.
There is no need to bring tools or crazy quantitys of spare parts.
If you break or get stuck there will be some one to pull you out or back to the trail head.
You probably dont need to bring extra gas, the APV area is just not that big.
Camping
There is a campground next door.
You can ride from the camp to the trails.
No camping at the trail head.
Perry Backwoods Campground
When to ride
I plan to snag an area at the trail head, the area marked P on the map.
We will have some type of banner, either my Honda banner hung on the ramp door of my trailer or maybe even a HondaSxS.com banner.
Start time is when you arrive, end time is when you load up and pull out (Forest closes at 11pm).
I may show up the night before and camp but camping is not officially part of the event. (your welcome to hang out with us thou).
So, who's in?
@Neohio , @Zaleski , @JeremieBaker ?
Who else?
