I've been busy with work and hunting so I haven't really gotten started on this thing yet. I did manage to get the roof installed after I had a buddy build me two brackets that was missing and a trip to Lowe's to pick up some more bolts and nuts. I bought the roof used and the guy said he thought it was missing some parts, you figure? Anyway it was a good price so I couldn't complain. Kolpin mirrors came in today and got them on. Like them so far, vibrate real bad while sitting still but they are clear once you start moving. Picked up a OEM split windshield yesterday at the local dealer and got it put on today also. Throttle MAXX came in today, got it on. Shifter cover's installed.

So I took it for a 30 mile run this afternoon and I just thought my Textron Stampede was a hot box. I will have to say with the roof and windshield and doors on this thing is an oven, a HOTT Oven. Keep in mind that I am in North Florida and the heat index was in the triple digits this afternoon. I was also trying to somewhat simulate how I will be using the machine which is driving VERY slowly, like 2-4 MPH while hunting the dogs in front of it. I was going around some fields and then I went through one of my hunting leases and that is when it really got hot. I don't have any fans under the seat yet but I just ordered them and I have the heat shield ordered from another member that should be her in a couple of days. These items are a MUST!!! It got so hot that I had to stop and remove the bottom portion of the windshield and then it cooled off pretty good but it was still hot. I have tube doors ordered from another member and they will be going on after I get them powder coated.

*My reviews of the Kolpin mirrors is good so far, I kind of like the two separate mirrors. They give you two different angles, one for someone coming up behind you and then a close up view of what is behind you to keep you from backing over something or one of the dogs.
*Sifter cover, works as advertised so far. I may have to move it a little because it is hard to get into Reverse now.
*Honda OEM Split windshield, well with it open the wind comes in and goes straight to the roof, it doesn't hit you in the face like the one on my Textron does. I like that part. I also went with the OEM so that it could be quick disconnect in case it gets too hot which is exactly what I did, remove the bottom section. My plan is to make a bracket in the roof somewhere to store it while not in use. One of my concerns is that it specifically states that the unit should not be towed on an open air trailer with this windshield and I noticed like someone else that it has a pretty good "flop" to it at about 45mph or so. I think they put a small piece of aluminum angle in the groove to stop that.
*Throttle MAXX, still getting used to it. Does seem to help.

A couple of other things I noticed today was that this machine doesn't STOP as quickly or as good as my Stampede. Might just be the auto transmission verses the belt which I am sure helps slow it down quicker.
Also my machine seems to be stuck in 2wd lock or should I say I have it in Turf mode but it is still showing both back tires locked and they both are pulling. I saw another post on this and I will have to do some digging on that.
Got 52 miles on it in two rides so I am half way to the 100 mile 1st service. Don't really want to do much modifications until after that 1st service. 20200708 182447 resized20200708 182534 resized20200708 182527 resized20200708 182512 resized20200708 182500 resized20200708 182458 resized20200708 182439 resized

You'll need to adjust the linkage for 2WD/Turf. It's the little silver box under the bed when you tilt it up behind the drivers seat.

10-4, thanks. I found the video on it last night and going to try and get it adjusted today.
