Tomorrow starts a new beginning of exploration and adventure! I've been delaying my trip west for the past few weeks hoping the smoke would clear, so I could go adventuring and look for a permanent home in the NW and preferably Idaho. I've been pouring over maps and real estate listings in my free time and I can no longer wait. The urge to leave has become too great and the NW Mountains and deserts are calling me and I must heed their beckoning. I do still plan on attending the Utah ride at the end of September.
As the trip becomes more interesting I'll post up some photos and details of my travels but, I can only imagine the journey there will be typical interstate commonality. Tomorrow there's supposed to be a cold front coming down from Alaska into the pacific NW, that will hopefully bring some precipitation, which should help with the fires and smoke. If that happens then I'm making a Bee line straight to north Idaho where eventually I'll hook up with @CumminsPusher and whomever else wants to go riding. If the weather fails to clear, I may just head to the Arapeen trail system in Utah and wait to see if the NW smoke situation clears. Either way, I'll be out for at least 2-3 months and will be in Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas and or Nebraska, S Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and ??? If anyone wants to ride, hit me up and let's go explore this great nation together!
