First hand feedback from some riders a few weeks back testing the Honda Talon 1000.

At long last, Honda has come to market with a pure Sport Side-by-Side vehicle - the Honda Talon. Honda built two different Talon models - the Talon 1000R and Talon 1000X. We had a chance get a little seat time in both of them. Here are our first impressions on the industry's newest Sport UTV.

Someone should get fired over that suspension presentation in the videos though. It does not look setup right. Either that or they are going just the right speed it doesn’t like to perform at. Makes it look like it’s bucking all over.

this is the best vid I have seen, hoping more 1st hand accounts will start popping up. seems like he is impressed with the X model as a trail machine.

There are other times it looks setup correctly. Did they not take enough video ? Did they change the setup halfway through? Is Wayne that crappy of a driver?(He’s driving in a LOT of the videos, makes me think he’s a little egotistical)

Do these Foxes have rebound adjustments? That's how you take the bucking out with slower rebound

No, just the 3 compression settings. Would have to revalve it to adjust rebound. Its Fox's entry level adjustable shock. Pretty sure the RC2 high/low speed adjuster can be swapped with the QS3 adjuster. Think you can get a new shaft and lower mount to add rebound adjusters also. Pretty sure I've saw a QS3-R shock that had the 3 compression adjustments with rebound. The Fox RC2 shock has all 3 adjustments H, L & R like the elka stage 5. The YXZ high end model has Fox X2 shocks that has high and low speed adjusters for both compression and rebound and an internal bypass built in. Its pretty much as good as you can get with a coilover shock.

If you match the 3 compression adjustments with 3 rebound adjustments sounds like a simple way to adjust on the fly.
