I understand this probably has been beat to death like oil threads in motorcycle forums.
I'm new here and read and read on dual batteries.
I have the $119 kit from here, stinger, OTRATTW switches, sea Fusebox...
Everything seems right but when I plug in dual volt meter it back feeds the dash.
And I can't get it to go off at all.
Ignition switch and 7 pin aux switch wired like I've read.
1&3 not used
2&5 jumped together and out to stinger pos
4&6 are in from Ignition on one and aux battery on other. Tapped the accessory 15a fuse.
It seems like that is not right and how it is lighting up dash through this wire.
Switch lights up correctly.
Stinger functions correctly.
Stereo works both ways.
I'm lost guys....and gals.

Mine did the same thing. I had a key on power wire running to my stinger when I didn't need it. I already had key on power running to my switches and thats all I needed for it to work correctly. It took me forever to figure it out by myself. May not be your problem but it was mine.

Hi,
Going to need more info on the actual switch. There is at least 3, 7 pin designs.
Do you have a link or anything to add about the switch?

Well, OTRATTW 7 pin DPDT.
When spun around it is #7 top right = ground
Then left is 1 and rt is 2
Second row L is 2 and rt is 5
Bottom is L 3 and rt is 6.

Not sure what else you need I can give you at the moment.

Can you find a link?
I will try. I think the diagram is laying in back of it in the garage.
It just seems like its a bad switch or wrong white and black wire. Or maybe volt meter. That's my luck but it could be my wiring. I have walked away twice to get a fresh start.

This seems correct off the 7 pin diagram I posted.

I have taken a laptop down to review posts here. I've taken pictures of posts or diagrams to help me get it right. Not happening.

HONDASXS.....
Thank You isn't enough sir!!!
My son stopped in and heard this was not going well from wife. He looked at the diagram you sent on the computer screen...blew it up and look at back of panel.
He works on and installs AC/Heat Pumps and Electric on them etc. He got in asked me to go out at battery area.
He asked a few questions we tugged a few wires back and forth and asked where this goes or that so he knew exactly and before I knew it...
He says, hang on and turned the ignition on.
He asked was the volt meter working and another question or two.
Says, No backfeed now, there ya go and sort of clapped his hands clean.
I said wait, wait, what...He laughed and said Love Ya Dad and headed out of the garage.
I have no clue....he will tell me but he'll make me wait a day or two.
Lol....must have been my 50 year old eyes I guess.
Like I said, Great Group.
As many say, it started as a clean slate and he we go. Hope the wife loves me like the son does when I'm done with Pioneer Project 2020.

Did he ever tell you what did it. I’m struggling with the same thing. My stinger stays triggered even with my ignition off. When I don’t have the stinger hooked up the ignition wire works as it should. When I hook it up, I turn on the ignition and it triggers the stinger but when I shut it off it stays on.

Figured it out. Stinger is bad.
