P1000m5 Bad_Bowtie's Boring Budget Build

We spent a couple days riding at our hunting property scouting and changing stand setups. Didn't take long for the tire rub to become unbearable on the mudbusters. They must be tough or they would already be torn off.

In the meantime, until I can do offset A-arms or some shocks that will increase ride height, I threw a set of spacers on the front. Unfortunately I didnt realize they wouldn't fit the rear load leveling shocks until after I ordered them. So for the time being the Pk5 is dragging its ass. But I'm not scrubbing anymore!

I didnt try it out since I didnt have an antenna yet, but when it powered up it was showing frs and gmrs channels as well as "Send It" which I would guess wasnt factory programmed .

Edit: after a quick run thru its definitely still programmed, including several Honda channels.

Yup old program, never used the Honda channels they were intended to block out everyone else’s conversations other than our groups with a squelch tone that would open the channel on our radios for our radios.

Finally got around to taking my rear shocks off this evening so I could take them to my buddy's in the morning and use his spring compressor. Well after a few Miller Lights I couldn't take it any longer. 2 ratchet straps and 3 beers later and they are on!

Ended up trading some wheels that I decided not to use for these. Looks like ill have a set for the highway and a set for offroad. I've never given much thought to the Rips Saws but they are 8ply rated in the 28 and 30" versions, these are 28x10r14. Any opinions? Seems like @Tramguage1 has them??

Upgraded the Amazon whips to some Boogers, much better quality for about the same price. Also added about 3/4 of a bottle of tire sealant to each tire. Had a couple of slow leaks so hopefully that'll stop them and any future problems as well. I put an extra bottle in the tool box for trail use.

Decided I wanted a little more light than the 20" bar on the bumper and I never was happy with where it was anyways. So I decided to try a 52" Auxbeam curved bar with the PBR brackets.
