P1000 Blackwater Evo's 30x10-14

I've alway been a huge fan and pushed these tires. I still will push them but now I will have one disclaimer. I received 4 today and they are marked 30" height but only measure 28"!! That really sucks, I didn't buy a $1400 lift kit to run 28" tires.

I've got a set of Roctanes on the way. They are heavier, less tread depth, but they measure over 30". Thanks @JACKAL

Yes that's what he is saying that he bought 30's and they only measure to be 28's. Not only will they fit but they might fit without the lift.

So the 28s you guys got before were a touch taller?

My 28x11-14 measured higher if I remember correctly. Or at least the same. I'll try to find some old pics.

I wanted to report that I have been in contact with ITP. So far, their customer service has been very good. I will let you guys know what they say soon.

I want to report that I am testing/measuring the tire height again.

My Roctanes grew a whole two inches after leaving them inflated for a week at 14 psi.

So I have one EVO mounted and inflated at 20psi and will measure a couple times a day. So far, they measure 29.5"

That is pretty close to 30"....

Put it on back of machine and spin them up to 40 MPH for 15 minutes, that should give you the final diameter only thing better would be to do it on a 90 degree day in the sun.

They stretched to almost 30" and that was after half a day at ~15psi and the rest of the day at 25psi.



This is after I let it back down to ~10psi

I've been thinking about the 28in evo's... On your 700 did they hold the over 28 measure at 10 or less #s

I also had 28" EVO tires on my P700. They measured just over 28" as well. That's what I was hoping for with these 30 inch Evos. I was very disappointed.
