Has anyone got the cabin comfort kit done by Honda and kept you fans under the seat?? Ive heard it doesn't completely fix the issue so the fan would be a nice "plan b" if its not working 100% in the summer. I don't know if the fan will interfere with the kit either. Heres a pic does anyone think it will be an issue to keep it there?

Left the fan and turned it into a heater for the winter, works great. Takes a few minutes to heat up but puts out a lot of heat. Beats a $600 heater and costs less then $20.

I like this idea. Did the engine noise increase in the cab? Are you using a 4in bilge fan? Is it more effective in heating the cab then doing nothing and just letting the engine naturally warm the seats? I actually ride more in the cool months and like the heat. However, I do occasionally ride in the hotter months and the heat is unbearable.

No increase in noise, 4" bilge. Much more heat then doing nothing. I ride 80% winter, 20% summer. Mount the fan as close to the header as you can without melting the fan. It takes a few minutes to warm up.

Thanks, I think that will be my next mod!

If you've mounted the fan like in the picture, there should be no issue with the heat kit being installed. It sits on top of the seat rails.
