I'm not a Tackett Creek expert, more like a combat veteran. Went with a dozen RZR XP1000 that just knew the P1K wouldn't make it 2 miles. All in we covered 42 miles of extreme terrain in 12 hours, my purple heart qualifying injuries included; leftfront & right rear CV joint broken, bent lower left A-arm, bent rear right roll cage, smoked my clutch, but.... I still drove it back with 1 wheel drive, never rolled it, and only held them up 10 min to winch out of a POTUS defined "s***hole" that 1 wheel drive couldn't handle.

Tackett Creek pictures.... last 2 pics, our group leader, Dan retired fabrication engineer and self built exoskeleton on his RZR, just bounced off barrel size rocks like nothing.

They did like you expect them to for guys that ride it all the time and already added $10k of updates for that kind of terrain.

Ha. My wife likes riding when your in the group.
She gets to drink her ice tea to her hearts content.
She figures you'll stop for a snack more often than she needs to stop for a pee. (Leave it alone @JTW)

39 on Windrock? That’s a b****. Last time I was on it was in a Jeep. One of the rigs knocked a knuckle off the front axle. We spent from 4 until 2am witching it up to where we could get a trailer ....

It looks like it. These guys struggled a lot on that trail. Appears they were out until the wee hours of the morning getting done on that trail.

How many batteries and feet of winch line do you have? ;) Just follow these next 30 or so posts discussing Devils Elbow........

Hey that was my daughter to the extreme left scoping a way up if she was looking at it as possible... Let’s do it:)Seriously any of the good rides I’m always in. Trails at RRB were really tame most were mainly fun because of the company, I’d love to spend a full day hitting the good stuff

Rail Trail (forget the number but it branches off to the right before the long hill climb on 39) is worse.

The only way up is at the end of a winch line. It is essentially a climb up a coal spoil mound and gets its name from the railroad rail sticking out near the top of the spoil pile. That rail is the winch anchor used to winch up it.
