P500 Charging battery

I was looking for opinions on charging battery. I bought a battery tender and was wondering if it better to remove battery from the machiene or just hook the tender to the terminals, or does it even matter? I know the manual says remove however, Ive also read from the noco manual you can charge without removing.

You can see where I mounted mine on the right side of the dash.

I just hardwired mine to the battery and bolted it on the right rear fender. No complaints so far.

Mine actually hooks to my buss bar which is hooked to the batteries. Doesn't really matter where you hit it in the system, it'll charge.

Mine has a quick disconnect so I leave it attached to the battery, and unplug it when I use my 500. I run the plug in cord through my steering wheel, sometimes old folks forget stuff.

Mine came with a plug already hooked up came out of the battery box so check yours may have one

Dash plug in is well worth it.

I have a "Battery Tender Plus", It came with a Lug Harness that you attach to your battery and just let it dangle outside the battery box. Easy to get to, and cheap. I bought a couple of xtras for the 4 wheelers. About 7 or 8 bucks on Amazon.

I went on Amazon and ordered an SAE cable mounted it behind the passenger seat, very convenient to charge.

Do you know what mode to charge stock batteries on? Regular 12 volt or 12volt AGM.
