Been staring at this machine wondering what it would look like with the top chopped down 2" or 3".
Not a great idea if you are a tall guy but for someone of average height, I think the room is there.
Looks like it would be involved but it could be done. I'm sure Honda wouldn't recommend it.
Don't see much of a problem with the accessories I have on, Honda top and half windshield.
Has anyone else kicked this idea around? If so, thoughts or concerns...
It would look sharp as hell!

By "chopping" it down, you need to keep in mind that if you take 2"-3" from the height of the "A" pillar or whatever you would like to call it, you have to lengthen the top/horizontal bar. So that would eliminate being able to use the Honda roof. The half windshield would not be affected though.
Yeah...seen trucks & cars

Front to back you mean right? The roof hangs over quite a bit in front...
possibly mod it to still attach.

That's the only thing the P5 is lacking in...
If it had a sportier look, they'd be selling a lot more of them.
A chopped top, @jak9922 half doors, @Stacy skid plate, and @JACKAL seats...
The P5 Sport Edition. That would be a wicked looking machine with a Honda drive train.

I would think that the Moose utility roof would still fit, these are pretty pliable.

I would think any one capable of doing the chop mod can make their own sheet metal roof or diamond plate or some thing
Absolutely...but already coughed up for the Honda roof.
I think it could be modded to work with a two or three inch chop to the cage.
Would have to move the clamps and wouldn't get as much overhang but...
