P1000 clutch update done

Just picked mine up yesterday from southern Honda powersports they did the clutch update and while they had it they did the seat heat update but the you can't even tell when the pioneer shifts it's so smooth got to get some miles on it the pioneer feels great totally different machine

Took mine in today for heat and clutch updates. Pick her up Wednesday. How many are they having to replace the clutch pack on I wonder?
Don't have clue, but they replaced mine, some how I've got the reputation, I'm hard on stuff????? And that's BS!

FINALLY got my buggy back from the dealer, 14.5 weeks. Drove it their parking lot and seem to be fine. This weekend will give it a good test. When I asked for repair order copy service manager said he was still working on it and would email me a copy. When I asked what fixed the problem he said "I DON"T KNOW" put it back together and it worked. Just happy to have it back.

Tramgauge1 Ill PM you my address. I was hoping to get to Hidden Fall the 23rd-24th buttttttt

Well that did not last long. Took it off the trailer let it warm up and took it around the block. It shifts but I get a flare-up between gears of about 500RPM's. It does it in auto or manual or sport mode. I just dropped it off at a new dealer close to the house. They test drove and said something was defiantly wrong. Said give them 2 days to get into the shop.

I'm asking because my dealer claims the part has been on backorder for several week. I had planned to stop by this week to see.
My dealer said my parts are back ordered also. Been in shop 3 weeks.

My buggy is fixed. New dealer took it back apart and found 2 o'rings that were cut. He replaced them with new put it back together and it runs great. Much quieter shifting that before. Smooth take-off from a stop and not jerky. Glad to have my buggy back it's been since Thanksgiving 2017 that it was in the other shop, new shop 3 days and fixed. I'm a happy camper.

I called Honda America today. They made me a case #. He told me there wasn't a back order on the clutch packs. Supposed to find out what is the hold up on my machine..

I've been waiting three months. I don't know what parts are required to make the "fix" but it sure seems like Honda could do better time wise since they have identified and corrected the issue for the new models.

Don't think that it is a Honda issue anymore, just a dealer issue.

I just went thru the same thing...Not a Honda issue but more than likely a dealer issue.

Kinda went through the same thing, gave them a month and called and told them I was bringing it in, rode there butt hard for a week!
