Poking around some patents today we noticed a new patent for a muffler design / layout. Muffler Mount Structure - Patents 9470134B2
But what is interesting is the unit being fitted. Honda designers seem to love this layout when featuring new patents. There are a handful or two of patients with this same layout.
Frist image below you can see it being used on patients just released today 10-18-2016.
But what makes us believe this is an obsolete design is the fact it was first created in 2009.
