Hadn't really thought about a saw mount. Our ride was first time I've ever brought one along lol. I'll put it on my list though lol. Top priority is that rear bumper. Going for that "Sherman tank" look lol
top on my list is the rear bumper also!! and need a saw mount

I've got a crapload of 2" channel. May stack them, weld together, and cut at angles on the end and call it a day lol. With shackles of course. Need to use it for something just to get it out of the way lol. Gonna pick up am mp3 music system at electronic express. Never messed with mp3 but I can download music with my amazon prime subscription. My overnighted abs to make flares didn't show up yesterday so Amazon owes me some shipping charges back.

Posted this in homemade mods thread but wanted it here too. Supposed to be a quick fix til I order some flares, but I really like it. May even leave them on there. Won't help with cleanup but should help with all that mud those Evos throw lol. Installed with 10mm plastic rivets so totally removable. Don't stick out very far so hopefully won't get knocked off. I spent about 30 bucks for them and still have enough material left to make couple more sets.

After having a couple friends with issues regarding their gates, I decided to beef mine up some. Don't think that expanded metal was made for a 1700 lb machine lol

I did the exact same mod to mine... I bet your welds are purtier though...lol
I doubt it lol. I used my thin wall so it wasn't exactly my purtiest work. Stuff blows through if you so much as look at it wrong lol.

My gate is rough i want to fix it but i don't have a welder. The pioneer is heavy and where the tires ride up it's all pushed through.

That's what was happening to mine. If you were closer and could come by during the week I'd hook you up.

Maybe someone at the ride will have a way to fix it.

I'm bringing a welder and scrap metal. Maybe tomorrow evening we can fix it.

I don't want to bring the tig welder and gas bottle. I'm just gonna carry a flux core wire welder, it will look clean enough for a trailer.

I now wish I'd kept mine just for that reason...portability.

Haven't really added anything to it since before the Takeover ride, just been enjoying it. It's amazing how you go from feverishly adding/modifying to almost nothing lol. My checking account sure has noticed lol. Today I got around to installing longer tailgate supports. Tailgate now lays perfectly level. Wires are smaller diameter than stock but hopefully still strong enough to suit me. I sat on it right after install and it didn't seem to mind supporting my 200 lbs.

Pretty? That must be trick photography or something lol. Cause it's scratched to hell and back. Rims look good cause they only got 3 rides on them lol. I don't pull any punches at all when it comes to riding. On the way to see one of the waterfalls at RRB, we went down 2 trails that a P500 would've rubbed lol. Had to put net down for wife cause she kept getting hit with branches lol.

I noticed a nasty little rock rash on one of the wheels lol. Didn't expect them to look good for long. If I had to worry about cosmetic damage, I'd never enjoy the ride lol

Last week I ripped a window from the passenger door all up that made me mad and ripped off a set of mirrors and damaged the lower rocker badly all at once leading a pack of 50" through the trees :-( I'll admit that the first gouge in a wheel or tire upsets me a little but your absolutely right you have to enjoy the rig! we went right into the rocks and branches our first ride out I think just to get the shock factor gone. From then on its go time baby! I think there are a few of us like that on here! Most of the sxs's we roll with on occasion buff and toothbrush their RZR's every use (among other things) Good to see there are enthusiasts on the @Hondasxs site:)

When I mentioned to the wife I think I'd like to get a sxs her first question was " you gonna take it up in the mountain?" And I'm like heck yeah, what else would I do with it? Lol. The mirror would've p#ssed me off too lol. One reason I just went with the rearview. Mine gets pressure washed after every ride and that's it. It always has a dirty film on it but I figure it's crazy to wipe it down good only to get it all trashed up again. I've seen a few of those armorall'd rzrs myself lol. Reminds me of those guys at RRB in rzrs that warned us to stay clear of this one mudhole at group ride. That thing was loads of fun. Had a tree laying across the top of it. You had to catch it with the front of the roof and push it out of the way lol. I don't see how they make it hardly anywhere with that pitiful ground clearance. To each his own I guess lol.
