P1000 Delton's painfully slow build

Changed the oil at 3054 miles. Both filters. I almost to hate to replace oil that looks so clean. It's been in there since 1900 miles. Both filters looked perfect. No oil overheating here.

Me thinks you change oil like i do
Goes everywhere but in the pan.

I forgot which hole it runs out of when I remove the filters lol. There's no hole directly below them so it runs to an adjacent hole. Just not the one I had the pan under lol

On the bright side, concrete really helps show condition of your oil. Mine was still plenty thick and honey colored like new.

I had my skids off not long ago installing nutserts and meant to cut new drain holes but I forgot.

This might be a faster cheaper solution vs removing skid plate and making new holes.
Just bend between skid and engine, divert to hole of your choosing.

@Delton I remember seeing your roof project on here but I can't seem to find it. I know the first you tried was too thin and was wavy.. what thickness did you end up using and is that what you would go with again?

I ended up using 1/8" aluminum. And yes I'd use it again. Perfect thickness. My 5p roof has a bent lip at front. For my 3p roof I welded lip on and it looks just as good. No warping.

Im at work now. I'll try and find it soon as I can. Honestly have no idea what month it was. I'm thinking this past spring but could be wrong. I'll see if I still have pics on my phone.

Found one of my cheap rattle can paint job lol. It's still holding up btw which is really surprising. Ole rebel yell is hanging in there lol.
