Stop right there - is that stock plastic that you drilled a hole in? LOL

Yessir it sure is. The black protective cap for the plug blends right in with the plastic and access was super easy to winch solenoid. I have no problem whatsoever drilling holes in stock plastic. I'm never concerned with resell or trade in value cause I hold on to my stuff forever lol. Never been one to get rid of a vehicle unless it just starts falling apart.

The only exception to that is the ones I buy to flip. And some of those I end up keeping lol. My 1000 is scratched up pretty good, even the new rims, but preventative maintenance is kept up religiously. Oil level checked before every ride and all fluids checked afterwards if I've been in water.

Mine are same width all around but can't remember exactly how wide. 8" sounds right though. Got them off eBay for 331 bucks free shipping. They are 5+2 offset. In hindsight I wish I'd gone 6+1 in front cause mine will shower you with mud and water lol. Love the wheels though (even though all 4 are scratched to hell now. But that's what I bought this rig to do lol). Hope that helps.

If your wheel is a 5-2 offset, that means 5" inside the hub and 2" outside the hub for a total of 7". Could it have been a 5-3?

I'm like you - if something works better by drilling or cutting - that's what happens.

Ill double-check but pretty sure it's a 5+2 making it 7" and not 8 lol. I'll look up my receipt later tonight.

Lol yeah definitely somebody else and not me lol. If anyone asks me what that plug is for...I'm telling them it's a 12v power hookup for my bottle warmer lmao. I'm guessing quite a few would buy into that lol

Right. I believe the wheels he has, and the ones I'm going to get, come in 14x7 and not 14x8. Either way I like them a lot.

Honestly I got them at first because of the price. Them being good looking was an added bonus lol. I was looking for something in 14" that was cheap cause I knew theyd get scratched, pitted, and chunks taken out of them (and mind do lol). If they made stamped steelies in 14", I would've gotten a set.

Not me... I mounted my corded remote socket in that same location within days of purchasing mine!lol

Hmmm the search for the ocd mystery man continues..... lol I like that the winch stops immediately when you release the rocker on the cord. With my wireless, it keeps running for a split second. That's why I got the cable stopper to prevent damage to my rollers.

Wow it's been like forever since I've posted anything here. But really haven't added much since last time. Been just enjoying the machine. I did add a dual fan setup that works miracles even on the hottest days. The heat shielding did help but this flat out put an end to my roasted buns lol.

Another recent addition was some music to my riding. Got this Bluetooth system made by company called Noam. Nice little system for under 200 bucks.

Ya know someone suggested swapping the polarity of my cooling fans during cold weather for added heat. If that would work, this switch would be perfect lol.

This one I installed this morning. I'm thinking I'll get the most use out of it since I can't resist mudholes and my front tires throw mud pretty bad. Huge thank you to @joeymt33 for hooking me up. Easy install too.

Next week I plan to modify my stock front bumper and merge the Strongmade with it. When I'm done it'll be a one piece unit. I'm having some dental work done Monday so I'll probably be strung out on pain meds lol. So I should get lots done.
