I debated long n hard on that. Factory grille is very weak. Cuts easily with dull knife lol. So no protection there isn't a great loss. I think i like it so far.

Im doing a test piece tomorrow around headlight. I like minimal tubing but curiosity is killing me on how it'd look

If you didn't have your turn signals there, I'd say move the lower tubes up about 3" to match the lower edge of the headlight better.

It's Rustoleum gloss cherry red. It's almost perfect match to oem red. It looks little off on mine cause my plastics have had a hard life lol.
Yes that extra contact point makes a huge difference. By itself it's kinda weak but combined it really beefs it up.

I have not forgot about the tree kickers. Hopefully after turkey season and this 'lock down' I will get back with you and make that trip!
