P1000 Delton's painfully slow build

It's supposed to be 60+ temps tomorrow and Friday. I have more training tomorrow but Friday morning I'm hitting the mountain before work. Plan is to hit that deep mudhole that turned me around last time cause I didn't have a winch. I figure it's redemption time lol

Yeah man. Super simple. Black is ground, red goes to your winch power switch. The other 2 wires go to your winch solenoid. One will be hot when you push the out button and the other is hot when you push in button.

I like the remote as well but chose to install the rockers as a back up. I think you're on the right track.

It's a personal preference thing I guess. Id rather leave that cord stored away somewhere and hope I never need to drag it out lol

Still can't figure out what's going on with my phone but still can't upload pics. Took advantage of this weather and went riding. Headed straight for that deep mud hole that backed me down last time. Eased off in there then nailed it. It wasn't too awfully bad but definitely a "front diff lock" kinda hole lol. I left some gloss black paint in there for sure. In fact I left paint in several places today. Gotta bump up my timeline for a skid plate.

I took my daughter's 10wk old pup with me today to break him in. He was pretty scared but kinda calmed down towards the end. He left his breakfast on passenger seat so he was pretty upset lol. I cut him some slack cause he's still a baby. Gonna make him my riding partner. He's German Shepherd/lab mix.

Well I actually got a pic to upload. Used a resizer app. SXS representing!! Lol. This was yesterday when it was still kinda clean.

Guess this resizer thingie was all I needed lol. Here is my new partner right before I cleaned everything up. Ill check undercarriage tomorrow after work to admire my damage lol.

Here she is with top and windshield. With the top it is extremely loud!! At 50mph it is deafening. Definitely don't like the noise increase. I have an overhead hoist in my shop and may rig something up so I can easily remove it. If it ain't gonna rain I may just leave it at home.

Made it do some work this past week. Need a liner or at least a mat. Hay got all in the rear compartment. Still love it though!!! (The sxs not the work lol)

Not sure if it was like that before the top install, but it will roast your butt after an hour or so of riding. Gonna look into some heat insulation. I've used some from DEI before with great results.

Just came in the mail today. I decided to just use a rearview instead of the side mirrors on mine. Alot of the trails I ride are pretty narrow and would probably destroy them. Love the wide field of vision the convex shape gives. As usual with Honda acc no instructions. I'll post a pic of it installed soon. I got 2 vehicles needing oil changes and one needing front rotors.

I ordered my service manual today. 16 bucks for handling? What a crock. I'm not a penny pincher, but I work pretty hard for what I have and hate feeling gouged. Anyways, it is what it is and at least it's on its way. Should be here Friday.

Lol yeah it does look that way. The main door is a slider and I have it slid open. When open it covers up the small door you see in picture.
