Got my rear lights mounted. Below is a series of pics from start to finish. Maybe it'll help somebody having trouble finding a place to put them.

Here's where it all started.
IMG 20160303 122254815 800x450

Had to cut away part of the plastic on the net holders. That way they'd sit flat like stock.

It would've helped if I could remember how to use my bender lol. It's been a couple years since I've used it. A hammer and vise works, but this thing makes sure everything is square.
IMG 20160303 124058036 800x450

I welded a stop plate to each one so bracket doesn't start swiveling if bolt loosens.
IMG 20160303 124121000 800x450

My favorite shop toy lol.
IMG 20160303 130912825 800x450

After installing everything, I took it back apart for paint. I'm pleased with the results.

Made some rough sketches n measurements for a rear bumper and basket for the hood. It'll be a while before I start cause I tend to overplan lol. I hate that the space above the hood is wasted. Looking to make it swivel up out of the way when I need to take hood off. Stay tuned....

Need opinions on using square tubing for rear bumper. Think it will look bad with all the round tubing factory uses? I have several sticks of thick wall 1.5" square tubing. I don't like how the exhaust hangs out there unprotected. Any and all opinions welcomed

hell no I think it will look good don't forget to stick some shekels on there they look tough not really needed to much in back unless u don't have a ball or hook in the reese. square bumper simple and give the muffler protection from backing int a stump or something. I might do a simple flat piece of steel 3X material 1/4 inch thick or so nothing special. WITH SHACKLES

I really dig the circuit breakers. Easy to get to and no screwing with trying to find a fuse.
I thought that was a good idea. Can't remember who made this. I'll go over my old emails and find out. I've had too many boxes delivered lately to remember who made what lol. I ordered couple of limit switches today for my interior lighting idea. The lights will come on when door is opened like a car. Or turn them on manually with a switch.

You just exceeded my limited electrical knowledge lol. I'll be happy if it'll just come on when I want it to lol. The switch will be easy. Just mount it where door will release the switch when it's opened and wire it up normally open on the hot side coming from one of the rockers.

I may get a separate switch that's a 3 way. All off, door activated, and manual override.

Joey was right, those little things are very bright for their size. I'd be lost without this forum to steal ideas lmao

Dimming the lights would be easy, just wire a small capacitor into the circuit. I just don't know how big of one you would need. Might have to play with a few. They are really cheap at an electronics store. Just wire it in parallel with your power wire to the lights.

Just ordered the Highlifter 2.5" lift kit. Should be here by next Friday. I'm gonna change this things name from Gruff to Eve. Cause the temptation to buy her more stuff is too hard to resist.
