I think you're absolutely correct. They were red at one time but used cheap paint. My pressure washer made quick work of them lol.

I never new what the two holes were for that had the nuts welded on the backside.I have a 1000-3, I now see it it for the 1000-5 roll bar in the rear. You just made my Idea way better. Thanks Delton.

That's the beauty of forums. One idea usually sparks another. It's the popcorn effect lol. I've gotten a ton of ideas from members on here.

Excellent idea. Consider it done. That red is a little brighter than my rig. Don what shade do you use? This is sunrise red from Klrylon. I already had it cause it matches one of my cars

Sorry I know night pics suck but I couldn't wait. Absolutely love the way it turned out. Solid as a rock. No rattles. I jumped up and down on it with zero flex. Happy camper.

The black did what I'd hoped it'd do....make the red look like it isn't attached to anything. Next up...converting a step bumper from a pickup to fit lol. This crap is fun! Lol.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm gonna take a couple pics in daylight soon as I get a chance. For something so simple, turned out pretty good. Since I can't find time to play in the dirt, I drove it to work today just to get cob webs off it. Tomorrow is gonna suck being at work when I could be riding with Don lol. But easy overtime is hard to pass up.
