have you decided what to do to it first???Hope to have more than one day next week to work on the sxs. Planning on buying some tubing so the real fun can begin.
Not exactly. There's so many options I don't know where to start. Gonna chop it, that I do know. Not sure how much yet.have you decided what to do to it first???
I want to come check it out when you fit it up... I'd like to see what all is involved and check out the head room...Not exactly. There's so many options I don't know where to start. Gonna chop it, that I do know. Not sure how much yet.
I was looking at mine the other day trying to figure out how I'd modify the soft mid panel to work with a chopped top...Not exactly. There's so many options I don't know where to start. Gonna chop it, that I do know. Not sure how much yet.
I'd like to chop mine too but haven't figured out what to do with the tip out 2 piece windshieldNot exactly. There's so many options I don't know where to start. Gonna chop it, that I do know. Not sure how much yet.

It's got a bend at the top. I guess it could be cut and then heated, re bent ,and new holes drilledCan't that be cut at top?

Have thought on that too..But how would you seam the lexan together?I didn't realize that one was bent top also but makes sense. It sucks because it's got bends at all four corners then. How about taking it from the lower. Cut section from the center and double up the two sections so you retain both bends?

Ya dunno if I'd like having a line of gray tape to stare at....I'm weird about things lol.Well as long as you left three quarters of an inch to an inch on both sides you could do something as simple as double back. As long as the Lexan was super clean you could do capillary glue which is designed for that material and it would be superstrong

We need a solution for this issue. I have the same windshield and I want to chop mine. I'm not as creative as you fellas.Ya dunno if I'd like having a line of gray tape to stare at....I'm weird about things lol.

I'll have to get Glock or Delton to help, I'm not a welder. Maybe on my next visit to Mary's Ridge we could knock it out.Seriously either would work and look good. Just need to not sweat the small stuff and start cutting

I'm thinking the chop should be 4" , have to do some more planning.
