Only have one day to work on my stuff so I dug up some scraps and made a temporary cart for the tig. Not bad for stuff I dug out of the junkpile.

Not exactly. There's so many options I don't know where to start. Gonna chop it, that I do know. Not sure how much yet.
I want to come check it out when you fit it up... I'd like to see what all is involved and check out the head room...

I was looking at mine the other day trying to figure out how I'd modify the soft mid panel to work with a chopped top...

It's got a bend at the top. I guess it could be cut and then heated, re bent ,and new holes drilled

I didn't realize that one was bent top also but makes sense. It sucks because it's got bends at all four corners then. How about taking it from the lower. Cut section from the center and double up the two sections so you retain both bends?

Well as long as you left three quarters of an inch to an inch on both sides you could do something as simple as double back. As long as the Lexan was super clean you could do capillary glue which is designed for that material and it would be superstrong

I added capillary glue which would be clear lol. But also if you scuffed and sprayed the outer piece on the inside it would show black on the visible outside making the lower section look fairly close to how it did.

We need a solution for this issue. I have the same windshield and I want to chop mine. I'm not as creative as you fellas. ;)

Seriously either would work and look good. Just need to not sweat the small stuff and start cutting

I'll have to get Glock or Delton to help, I'm not a welder. Maybe on my next visit to Mary's Ridge we could knock it out.

I'm thinking the chop should be 4" , have to do some more planning.
