I can't see it helping the CG that much but ok... looks like it would cause more problems than it would help. Unless you have a toy hauler it won't fit in I don't see it.
I'll have to just take your word for it.It actually made a difference if someone wasn't running a roof or anything else up top it wouldn't make much

Setting aside the center of gravity aspect, the better aesthetics alone is worth the effort imo.I'll have to just take your word for it.
Well.. I want before and after pics.I was a straight up hater on the idea not long ago. Guess I have @snuffnwhisky to blame for the change of heart. Honestly haven't given much thought to the windshield lol. Figured I'd just chop it and deal with the side effects later lol. Btw 4" is kinda where I'm at as well. Not too extreme but still enough so it's noticeable. Hoping to make my own headrest support rail so I can incorporate some 4 point harness mounts.
I missed the cappilar glue part.I added capillary glue which would be clear lol. But also if you scuffed and sprayed the outer piece on the inside it would show black on the visible outside making the lower section look fairly close to how it did.

I'm also running my stereo system up at the top of the rops... I'd like to lower all that weight. It actually made a difference if someone wasn't running a roof or anything else up top it wouldn't make much

Dammit!!!! I forgot about my stereo. Id probably have to build a new one because a 4 in chop would have my head banging against the 6x9s.I'm also running my stereo system up at the top of the rops... I'd like to lower all that weight.
not sure whether to say sorry, or youre welcome...Dammit!!!! I forgot about my stereo. Id probably have to build a new one because a 4 in chop would have my head banging against the 6x9s.
But of courseWell.. I want before and after pics.
Yeah but she can't get to them. They are put up in our old primate enclosure. No way anything can get in there. You've got chickens, right?
Could you trace and cut the top half down 4 in and reinstall the weather strip?Went and checked out the windshield. Not gonna be a biggie. The bottom of the top part is what I'll cut. Just bend a lip where it mates with the bottom part and redrill holes for the mounts. Done.
