Okay here are some pics of the snorkel. First impression was this thing is cheap as h*ll! But then I picked it up. That hose is thick and very durable. The flat part looks like it might collapse under hard breathing by the motor but I tried to squeeze it shut and it wouldn't budge. It looks like they just heated it and flattened it somehow. The fittings are just 2" sch40 pvc.
If you could find where this hose came from, it'd be easy to build your own for a fraction of what I paid. I bought this mainly to see how they accomplished snorkeling this vehicle and still have a working dump bed (considering how many have tried and failed). The top section won't stay on there for long if at all. I'm gonna mount a ram air type scoop on it. Anyways here she is. It'll probably be Tues before I'll have time to mount.

I bet you're right. I looked for hose before and didn't see anything locally that wouldn't suck flat. Didn't trust pictures or specs enough to order hose online. I went into this expecting to overpay for something simple. And I did. But I'm happy with my purchase. If engine dies when I cover top opening with my hand, I'll be a happy camper.

Anyone interested in an install guide? I don't mind doing one, but not if nobody cares lol. Shouldn't take but just a few minutes.

I picked these up Tuesday. I want to keep my Bighorns on the deluxe rims so I gotta find some more for these. I'd settle for some stamped steel ones if I can find them. They are strictly for rough play lol.View attachment 12007 View attachment 12008

What size are those EVO's in the picture? I have the highlifter bracket lift and am leaning towards them just unsure of the size because I know they run a little small.

They do run small at operating pressure but they are a good all around tire. I called ITP about the over-rated size and they said they are true to size at max pressure. Well, the 30" version is rated at 32psi, I would never dream of running that pressure.

What Joey said lol. He's the expert on them lol. They are 30-10-14s. Shouldn't have any rubbing issues at all with the lift. I'll know for sure soon as my wheels get here Wed.

This hose may work. It it rubber and can handle heat and is metal reinforced. And there are larger sizes if that would be needed. Looks like with the fittings needed if some one wanted to build their own it could be done under $100. Not sure how long of a hose would be needed but this comes 11'. Should be long enough for at least 2 snorkels I would think.

Yeah that might work. A little worried about the claim it returns to original shape after being flattened. Don't know bout this one, but mine is reinforced with wire and it's staying flat. I stood on it and couldn't get it to collapse.

Also got the snorkel installed. Pretty easy installation. Love how its almost invisible. It's camouflaged against the passenger headrest. Put my hand over the inlet and killed motor like it should. Alot of vacuum when I tried to remove my hand. So it's working like it's supposed to. I'll post some install photos in a separate thread. There is some intake growl under a load but I kinda like it.
