I have grey carpet cleaning hose that would work just as good as this if not better I have to check the size idOkay here are some pics of the snorkel. First impression was this thing is cheap as h*ll! But then I picked it up. That hose is thick and very durable. The flat part looks like it might collapse under hard breathing by the motor but I tried to squeeze it shut and it wouldn't budge. It looks like they just heated it and flattened it somehow. The fittings are just 2" sch40 pvc.
If you could find where this hose came from, it'd be easy to build your own for a fraction of what I paid. I bought this mainly to see how they accomplished snorkeling this vehicle and still have a working dump bed (considering how many have tried and failed). The top section won't stay on there for long if at all. I'm gonna mount a ram air type scoop on it. Anyways here she is. It'll probably be Tues before I'll have time to mount.

I bet you're right. I looked for hose before and didn't see anything locally that wouldn't suck flat. Didn't trust pictures or specs enough to order hose online. I went into this expecting to overpay for something simple. And I did. But I'm happy with my purchase. If engine dies when I cover top opening with my hand, I'll be a happy camper.I have grey carpet cleaning hose that would work just as good as this if not better I have to check the size id
is that a rhetorical question???lolAnyone interested in an install guide? I don't mind doing one, but not if nobody cares lol. Shouldn't take but just a few minutes.
Look for it Tuesday then lolis that a rhetorical question???lol
I picked these up Tuesday. I want to keep my Bighorns on the deluxe rims so I gotta find some more for these. I'd settle for some stamped steel ones if I can find them. They are strictly for rough play lol.View attachment 12007 View attachment 12008
Yeah that might work. A little worried about the claim it returns to original shape after being flattened. Don't know bout this one, but mine is reinforced with wire and it's staying flat. I stood on it and couldn't get it to collapse. This hose may work. It it rubber and can handle heat and is metal reinforced. And there are larger sizes if that would be needed. Looks like with the fittings needed if some one wanted to build their own it could be done under $100. Not sure how long of a hose would be needed but this comes 11'. Should be long enough for at least 2 snorkels I would think.
