I wouldn't use all thread it will wear on the bushings
@Delton put your ball joints in the freezer for about an hour before you press them in. It will make it much easier.
Awesome tip! Will do. You're the 2nd person that has mentioned these being a tight fit.@Delton put your ball joints in the freezer for about an hour before you press them in. It will make it much easier.
I've got a poor history when it comes to trying to reuse ball joints. New ones for sure.New ball joints or are you pressing the others out? They do not come out easy.
Yeah good point. I've already ordered bolts so that's not a problem now. Best thing about a forum is people thinking of stuff that didn't occur to me lol.I wouldn't use all thread it will wear on the bushings
You just doing the front? Or you doing all 4Yeah good point. I've already ordered bolts so that's not a problem now. Best thing about a forum is people thinking of stuff that didn't occur to me lol.

And warm up your a arms in the oven?@Delton put your ball joints in the freezer for about an hour before you press them in. It will make it much easier.
I'll put ball joints in cooler of ice with some salt. They'll freeze better than any freezer ever could. Best way to fill nitrous bottles if you don't have a pump. And warm up your a arms in the oven?
Throw a couple beers in there for when the job is done too! Or maybe some blue Kool-aid.I'll put ball joints in cooler of ice with some salt. They'll freeze better than any freezer ever could. Best way to fill nitrous bottles if you don't have a pump.

Cool thanks brother!. Hopefully ball joints and stuff will be in next week and I can start repairing that mount. Desperate to hit the trails with it again.View attachment 43195 Setup numbers. When you set the toe you should have 5-6 treads showing.

The bolts for control arms? They are 12.9. 10.9 is slightly stronger than grade 8 so these should work great.Thinking about the bolts. Are they grade 8 or what. Seen 2-3 damaged at the Takeover. I'm thinking I would prefer really hard bolts.

Case of danged if ya do and danged if ya don't. Would you rather be shot in your left arm or right? Lol.Most were just bent. Better than too hard and breaking
