I’ll just say I’m very happy I installed one in mine! I’ll also say that I wouldn’t want it without power steering. It does make noise at times while moving slow making tight turns.

I am going to get one when this machine gets off warranty and I have the money. I ride steep icy and snow trails during hunting. There are spots that the locker would go up that we have to chain up on now.

I thought about waiting until the warranty was out but I figured if the front diff hasn’t given any problems in the first 500 miles it should be good. The locker won’t void anything except the front diff and axles.....larger than stock tires will also void the warranty

Locked front ends lead to a lot less 'banzaiing' obstacles and hillclimbs. More control equals less chance of breakage, rollovers etc. It's value in reverse may be the most important to me. Lots of solo riding and the ability to back out of unsuccessful spots and try it again. May be more valuable than rear because of the ability to saw the wheel looking for traction. Like I've mentioned before though, you can also get a lot farther and stucker. I tend to do a lot of electric spoolin...

Does anyone know on a standard differential if applying the brake while spinning will make the other front wheel start to pull.
I know on a truck that it sometimes works.

Just checked with my local Honda Dealer today and he said they would install the Torque Locker if I buy the kit. Don't really want to install it myself.

Heres an old dealer quote, $595.

It’s not a difficult install, but if you’re not comfortable doing it and a dealer install is not out of your budget then that’s the way you should go.

The locker is worth every penny. My only problem now is that I need power steering. I try to save 4wd for only when I need it. If I ride in 4wd for an entire day I feel like I wrestled a gorilla.
It really takes the stress of the machine, you can ease it over obstacles without having to hammer it. Can’t wait for power steering, my next mod....it never ends
