P1000 Does Honda need to be more innovative?

Honda has always been behind the curve. On everything.

It seems like they are typically the last to the party. My guess is no one is gonna change that.

I agree 100% with the Polaris comparison. The Polaris is like a small block chevy, a Jeep, an air cooled VW, or a Harley..
Anything, and I mean ANYTHING you might want for it is available. Make it yours.

A big reason for that is simple #'s. Look at how many Polaris SxS's there are out there compared to any other brand.. they dominate. Not because they're better, they aren't. It's simple math for the aftermarket manufacturers. They make stuff for the masses, and the masses ride Polaris.

The Mule wasn't either, but it has a horn, and I've used it from time to time when riding with others. I operate a large excavator from time to time. It has a horn. You never need a horn, until you need a horn. They come in handy sometimes, especially train horns....

I guess I'm in the minority- my Honda has air leaks around the doors, yes, if I wanted a jeep I would have bought one. No windshield is awesome for me, maybe a top someday but no hurry, a stereo system??? Waste of time in my opinion but to each his own. Bare bones minimum but with a drivetrain that performs smoothly and reliably and keeps the cost affordable with potential to add whatever I want - Priceless! To me this thing is a dirt bike with 4 wheels that pretty much goes anywhere I ask it to. It's like a mountain goat, call me crazy but I love it just the way it is.

I sat here for a few (beers not minutes) trying to decide if I should dare ask yet fearful you will answer but ok, what is a dirtsquirter, and how the hell could it possibly squirt in minus 350 degrees.
