P700 Electrical issues?

My 700-4 dies when I turn on the headlights, and the headlights aren’t working. Checked fuses under hood and all tested good. Put voltmeter on battery and reads 14.7 when running. But as soon as I turn on lights it shuts off. Any thoughts?

Have you checked the obvious ground connections, checked for any shorts to ground?
Any work done to the machine before the issue started, any accidents or damage?
Check for a chewed harness causing a short, how does the battery check out?
Year and details on the machine along with mods would help.

Do a battery load test first, or just try a new battery.
