This seems obvious but I want to check before I make assumptions. I bought the Honda Talon Under Hood “Keyed On” 40AMP Power Bus Bar- By TurnPro from the Club store along with a fuse box . That limits me to 40 amps of maximum draw total for the fuse box before it blows the inline fuse on the keyed on bus bar right?

I was afraid of that... I bought some Alien Lasers which have a 30 amp inline fuse.
(my electrical knowledge is high enough that I just get into trouble so please correct any inaccuracies)

1. If I wire them to the fuse box there is a very high chance of blowing that 40 amp fuse when I run them and other accessories at the same time, so this is not a good idea.

2. I want these to be key on power so they don't accidentally get left on, but that's not possible with the current setup.

3. I could wire them to the battery but I would have to get key on power for the rocker switch illumination or it would be illuminated all the time.

Is my thinking correct for 1, 2 and 3?

If so, does anyone have a few suggestions on best course of action?

Technically you need watts of each device, this will then derive amps which will then solve for amps needed

Not sure what an alien light is, don’t really care - just need total watts it will consume. consume.

Off the cuff, unless you have everything turned on at the same time - probably ok but hate to guess. Of you are pulling more than 40 amps in accessories - god love ya and your stuff.

I’d hook it up and send it!!!!

@Adam490 and I appreciate the response.
I was thinking (very dangerous) I have the super atv black ops winch wired to the battery, and the rocker switch has a power lead that I wired to the fuse box. So the switch only works when the key is on, is it possible to do the same thing to the alien laser switch? And if so, which blade would it be?

Ahh I cut all that off. I ran mine directly to one of the 2 available 30A slots on my Auxbeam controller. I’d recommend going with the auxbeam or switch pro 100000% after messing with the rocker switches for so many years. It’s just so easy and simple to wire up.
