Like I said compare it with another one. Your dealer should contact the Honda tech line and also contact Showa. Your dealer should check to see if the nitrogen charge is ok especially if no one else is complaining.

No dealer is going to contact Showa, and TechLine knows less then we do these days.

That seems to be the case with most vehicle manufacturers. The online sources know more about what's wrong and how to fix it.

What's even more messed up about that is the manufacturers know this and still don't care. Customer satisfaction and quality seem to have gone out the window and the post covid "good enough" era has ushered its way in.

$1500 each for 2.5 and $2800 each for 3.75? Gold and platinum! My '21 isn't plush by any means with the ST springs but it's totally fine if it takes that much to make it better. Ride in a Teryx T2 for a while then get into a stock Talon of any vintage; it's plush!
Definitely not cheap and built for racing extremes like the Baja 1000. Probably not a solid choice for the weekender, unless you want/need that adjustability.

If we all fight back against mediocrity by always doing our best and buying as little china made junk as possible we may just pull out of the tail spin we are in.
good enough is Not Good Enough.

If you think side by sides quality is down try looking at RVs and toy haulers! My dad used to say "we are their QC". That sure doesn't make it right!

I have a solution that would make a SIGNIFICANT improvement on your opinion of your stock shocks.

$50 for a 30min ride in my p5 with WE aftermarket shocks. You will quickly recalibrate your attitude to just how good your stock Showas are and see that you, in fact, do no need an aftermarket solution.

$50 is cheap compared to these aftermarket solutions. Even if you have to take the occasional repeat recalibration ride, that's still a bargain!
LOL...after I got my 500 I told the wife that I would NEVER complain about the ride of a 700 again.

My first ride was a P500 that I bought in 2016. As many of you know, that was the machine I built the air-ride set up on, and tested the prototype locker from Torq-Masters. So I can honestly say that the 2024 Talon X on the new Showa shocks, rides only marginally better than that old P500 on cheap automotive air shocks, and in some cases worse!. I'm not exaggerating by any standard. I'm hoping, as of today, I may have found a reasonably priced bolt in solution, but I'm not going to say any more about it until it actually works....

Here's what I was talking about in my last post. Just installed a full set of Bandit Stage 5 struts in all four corners. The initial ride impression is amazing. They ask you on the order page some basic questions, and then I assume they set them up accordingly. For mine, I put in that my maximum expected load- riders and gear would be about 600lbs max, and that I want it to ride like a marshmallow. I checked my ride height before installation, and after a very short ride after installing I checked it again and found that it was about 1.5" higher in the rear, and about 1/2" higher in the front than the stock struts, which is interesting, because I had intended to do exactly that after installation.. The difference in ride is dramatic, and that's just driving around the house and road. The little bumps on the road that the stockers transmitted to the seat before are completely gone. GONE. The 'sea-sawing' that happens with touchy throttle is gone. The big squat under acceleration and nose dive on brakes is gone. Really looking forward to getting it on the trails and fine tuning it. By the way, these are made completely in the USA with no foreign made components by a 100% American company. The full set completely ready to install was $2400. Ya, I had to spend money again, but I think my suspension issue is solved. One and done. Check out their website : https://www.banditutvsuspension.com/ *And I need to add that they only communicate via email, but I had some questions that were responded to in under an hour, and then within minutes with follow-ups.

Are these for a Talon or Pioneer? $2400 for a set of USA made adjustable shocks/springs is a freakin deal!!

Like I mentioned before, a revalve on the stock Fox shocks with DSC adjusters and 8 springs will set you back about $1600 at reputable shock tuners shops. For $800 more you get brand new everything and have 4 stock shocks you can then sell to recoup some funds. You really can't beat that with a stick.

I bet a set of Fox or King 2.5" air shocks would be a hot setup on a non go fast SxS. Ride height is infinitely adjustable with N2 pressure and ride quality is easily adjusted with oil volume and basic valve shims.

ORI Struts would be super badass and are all kinds of adjustable but the price on a set of those is up there with giraffe kitty. 🤣

Talon X. I had the new showa struts. I didn't want to experiment on struts no one has even seen yet. The Bandit struts have a pretty impressive warranty as well. The stage 5 struts are fully adjustable in all aspects of operation, and they tailor them, or maybe 'ball-park' them to your preference- within reason, and then there is just an amazing range of adjustability left that you can play with. I'll have more of an opinion after I've actually had the machine on the trails, but my initial ride impression is that they are clearly in a different universe than the stockers.

Seriously, if when you read this sentence you don’t get a little excited. You’re not an American
Right?! When I first saw these, and the price, I just assumed they were um... foreign made because of the price. A full set of fully adjustable performance struts- even the cross-over springs are adjustable for point of cross-over and pre-load. So I was a little skeptical, and then after reading more and finding that this is a 100% American product, I hit the order button. Website said it could be two weeks- each set is built based on customer preferences- they arrived in four days.

The $2400 was the price to my door. It included shipping and tax
