I have done this. I know exactly where the rigs need to be for optimal hitch weight.

This is why I hijacked this post these will not fit a Vnose trailer I have one for my camper and tried to use it but there is no where to mount it on the tongue because the box takes up the tongue space. I am however going back to sixty five psi in the tires I think this will help the problem got exaggerated when I put 80 psi in the tires and changed to Nitto tires on my truck.

Do you have trailer rated tires on your trailer, or are the LT light truck tires on your trailer

Nice trailer @JACKAL . Glad I went custom build, a bit extra for the upgrades, but worth it so you never say “I wished I got..”. Looks like my trailer would fit inside yours. Personally like the V nose versus flat. Go big or don’t go at all. Pleased with the puck style latch locks. Enjoy.

Truck 9800 empty. GVWR 14,400 / GCWR 40,000
Lance 850 camper 2900 wet full of water, etc
Trailer 4000 empty, 14, 000 lbs GVWR

Rolling as in 1st picture, 17,600 lbs 44% of GCWR averaged 10.5 mpg @ 70 mph over 465 miles.

Very nice rig did you wire it up? Thanks for all the help on the sway thing. I added a generator to the nose and turned the Pioneer around to get extra nose weight and just like that it quit dancing went up to 15% of the trailer weight on the tongue and now we are happy!!

Glad you figured out the sway issue, On this maiden trip to Colorado and back had 2 P1K's . Equipment. ect. inside total weight was about 9000 lbs but only ran 600 lbs tongue weight, didn't experience any sway issues in 3200 miles, but that is partly attributed to the spread 7K torsion axle setup. It pays to invest in proper running gear whenever possible.
