If we all followed the guidelines in the owners manual, no more than 15 degree grades, less than 10" water, etc. a $3500 golf cart could be used in the " recommended condition". It's all about liability these days and plausable deniability.
Honda has traditionally taken good care of thier customers, as the case with water ingestion, given it's catastrophics results, could have been handled a bit better, by giving more consideration than just saying no, not our problem, then release a fix 18 months later to fix thier non existent problem. Still from the corp. standpoint look at how much discussion has been had about snorkeling, extending vent lines, etc. You can't honestly not acknowlege a fair % go in water way deeper than designed on a routine basis. It is an off road vehicle not a PWC, Honda got out of making those years ago.
