Had a 2009 700 Yamaha Rhino 6350 miles on it at trade in. That machine was a work horse, nothing compared to the 1000 Pioneer. This machine is so smooth, comfortable, quite. I'm very impressed so far. Pushing snow is a breeze. My only complaint is in the constant shifting in high gear. I'm using manual shift a lot more. Most of my riding Speed is 6 to 10 miles an hour. It should be a great meat wagon come deer season.

Welcome to the group @Woodsman.

What accessories have you installed so far? Sounds like you have a plow.

I keep hoping for snow like that around here so I can play in it but it's very doubtful. When my old job announced it was closing its doors (I'd been there 28 years), they practically begged me to take a job at their Westchester, OH plant. I didn't think an old simple minded TN country boy had any business being that close to Cincinnati lol. Welcome to the forum!! Post pics of your ride when you get a chance.

Hello Woodsman! Hey if most of your riding is at 6 to 10 miles an hour then use LOW RANGE. It will save your clutch. Enjoy!

You can put it in sport mode when going slow in high and it keeps it in lower gears that will help save your clutch too. I have over 1700 miles with no clutch problems.
