Not a Dodge guy either but that's a nice clean truck Vondy.
Thanks. I'm for whatever does the job and is a good deal.

My daily Ram 1500 I bought from my in laws for trade in price when they were upgrading. Wasnt looking for a truck then either. I knew it was taken care of and had never pulled anything, didn't even have a hitch on it, but came with factory brake controller.

Got a new to me Talon tugger. Not as cool as @CumminsPusher but I think he might like. Bought from my good friends dad who bought new in 2008. He is probably the most particular person I know. 108,000 miles on it and not a spec of rust which impressive for a 15yr old Ohio truck. 6.7 Cummins deleted with 6 speed auto. Says it has never been in salt, which I fully believe and I plan on keeping it that way. Full record of everything he has done to it. It needs freshened up a bit so it doesn’t look like such a grandpa truck but otherwise it doesn’t get much better for a used truck. I’m thinking less chrome and more blackView attachment 395300View attachment 395301View attachment 395302View attachment 395303View attachment 395306View attachment 395307View attachment 395308View attachment 395309

Skyjacker Black Max Dual Steering Stabilizer, on my 98 Ram 2500 - Gen 2, 4WD.
Steers better than new now that the bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, Red Top steering box, steering brace and dual stabilizers are done.
Shout out to Chris @ Skyjacker. Great Customer service.

More relaxed pulling my trailers, long distance now.
This old truck doesn't owe me a dam thing...

SRW and no, took my trailer to Columbus and was deadheading home

Well that sounds encouraging. I just ordered a 2024 F450 King Ranch 6.7 HO as my current F350 SRW has 200,000 miles on it. It’s my 6th Ford diesel. The previous 5 all went 300,000 miles plus. Plan on keeping the F350 for the wife. With the availability/ lead time on the Superduty’s thought it best to get one ordered now.

Everyone talks about mileage on the newer trucks. 18.4 with a 30yo dually with 2 sxs’s and a toy hauler at over 20k pounds with no air bags or equalizer hitchain’t too bad. 550 mile range.

On my seconds diesel. First was a Nissan titan with the new 5.0 Cummins. Very cool motor in a s*** truck.

I now have a 2020 F-350 with a Powerstroke. Runs great. Watch for fuel pump knock on these. Also eats tires.
I got rid of mine too. Loved it but worried about longevity.

I had my first deer encounter last month before we left for Michigan. I had a buck run out from the forest line at full speed and struck the driver side of my truck. He pushed the fender in, put a large dent in the driver door, put some scratches down the rear door, and a couple small dents on the rear door. Technically I still haven't hit a deer. He hit me. He jumped up and took off by the time I stopped and he was gone. Monday I finally get it fixed.
