First time riding @ Ride Royal Blue

We are riding at Ride Royal Blue 9-15-2022 to 9-18-2022 and just looking for input on recommended gear to carry along.
We have a group of 8 machines ( i'm the only Honda in the group) we have experience riding but have never been to Ride Royal Blue.

8-15 ? Id' recommend couple tow straps and a fire extinguisher.

Honestly I'd recommend someone that knows the trails. @JACKAL leads rides there.

Since it's already September I assume dates 8/15 is a mistake and you meant 9/15 etc.


Definitely recommend at a minimum tools to replace a tier rod and a spare tie rod. A 12v air compressor, several tire plugs, maybe even a sidewall slug or two. Durable tow strap that can pull 3x max machine weight (12k 30ft).

If you want to see the good stuff recommend Lifetime Trail Maps on an 8-10" Samsung Android tablet, otherwise the paper map for Sundquist only has 5% of the trails on it.

Well I have to say that's a ton of great info Everyone Thank's! Thank You @JACKAL that info sent me straight to Amazon to purchase things we don't already have for the machine🤑🤑. The pictures and videos gave us a great look at what we may run up on.

You’ll probably end up ditching those metal shackles for soft shackles best thing I ever did.
The club store has some great recovery gear, I bought 2 of the soft shackles with aluminum disc to replace my snatch blocks, saved about 20 pounds . Good luck have fun and remember
