My wife’s 2020 is due for its first service. Plan on using a Honda filter and rotella t6 which I’ve been running in my 17 rubicon. Was looking for opinions. Is this oil okay to Use in her 500 as well?

I've seen several others on here using rotella t6. The key is wet clutch application. JASO MA is what I see referenced as the thing to look for. I'm not the expert on the topic though.

I am running T4 in my machine. I had been running the Valvoline full synthetic but it was consuming it quite fast. I switched to the T4 a few weeks ago and can’t believe how much quieter the machine is and the oil consumption has stopped. I’m sure the T6 will be fine I just never used it. I would not use the T5 synthetic blend as it does not list JASO MA on the jug.

The t6 is jaso MA oil so I’ll probably just use that. Just wanted to make sure it was okay.

Let us know how it does after about 1,000 miles or so. I’m curious if you have any oil consumption or not with the full synthetic. Not saying you will have any consumption just curious how the T6 compares to the Valvoline full synthetic.
