What’s a new 5.0 get pulling same load? Not pulling?
My 2013 5.0 super cab 4x4 gets about 14 @ 60 towing my P500 on a 12 ft dovetail single axle trailer. About 11 @ 70+. Gets about 18.3 with nothing behind it.
Have a 3.5EB and I can get 19mpg towing if I’m running 55 or 15mpg running 70, OR 4mpg running 85 and it never drops power.
it’s more of an Eco OR Boost
I'm really tempted to get a new F150 but I dont think the 2.7 is for me. I really like my 5.0 but I think I could drive a 3.5 with a 10 speed
Ten speed is sweet!

I think I'm glad I'm just renting. I dont think I would like to deal with those turbos at 200K miles, but i dont know s*** about turbos. Maybe they'll be just fine. I'm happy enough with the power. I really dont know s*** about the truck. I think it has a 10 speed transmission. That sound right? Been a long time since i had a new truck.
Yup... now try a 3.5 and you’ll be a true believer! For what’s it’s worth, the ole lady’s new Lincoln Nautilus has the 2.7EB and its AWD with 22” factory wheels like that matters lol 8 speed trans. That MFer is a GD rocket! That was in comfort mode when I took it to the store, when I left the store I put it in sport and Christ that thing lit up the wheels like a GT500! Well not quite that but close! So much fun. We have 1,600 miles on it so far and she’s averaging 25.9 mpg and she’s got led foot. I’ll take that any day in a gaser.
