So not having anything but a factory build on P1000-5, what would be your first go-to accessory add on for this machine. Have added a winch and a storage/seat on back rack of my Honda Foreman but nothing to a newly acquired SXS. What, in anyone's opinion would be the first priority of a added feature for use/function? Thanks

Welcome to the club from South Florida

What Remi said, post some pics and definitely consider a skid plate soon 👍

Welcome from Florida, I started with a roof and flip up windshield. After a few trips on the trails I added a winch, skid plate, under seat bilge fan, Fox shocks and extended the vent lines. If you ride at night you will appreciate better lighting.

Since no one else mentioned it.... this is the Talon section. Might have better luck poking around the P1K section.

As far as mods, a decent set of skid plates is the first place I'd spend the money

Yup. But whether it's a Talon or a Pioneer, my must haves are identical: Roof, windshield, skid plate and winch. In that order.

But, yea, it's in the wrong forum area.

@Justinsings being as you live/ride? somewhere in TN, I would again say a real skid plate is very important. If you ride alone more then not, a winch should also be priority on your list. Roof and windshield could be considered comfort add ons depending on your riding style. I would also recommend a heat shield from @trigger just cause we're in for a hot summer and you'll benefit from that mod instantly as well. Beyond that.........the list is endless 😂😂😂 read up on some of the build threads and as you ride you'll figure out what works for you the best.

Good luck! 👍 And post some pics!!!!!!! 😂

Definitely skid plate. Lot cheaper than an ambulance ride to an ER.

Welcome from South Dakota.
The easiest thing to do is to join the clubs auto accessories program. It's work really simple. All you have to do is, deposit your entire family, and three of your neighbors household incomes into a special account each month. Then they automatically send you the next accessory to install.
What part of Tennessee are you in.
Welcome to the club from East Tennessee.

The above is minimum for me. The goal is more than I have already done to my own machine.

Obviously, they look pretty staged, but this was just newly acquired so I hadn’t even really headed out yet. It’s only been driven around the neighborhood for about a mile until I get it out to the farm this weekend.

It’s pretty clean at the moment, but probably won’t be after Saturday. Lots of rain here this week.
Also, thank y’all for the options on mods and accessories.
I’ve done a few things to my Honda Foreman, but I’m now new to the side-by-side game.
