I tell you right off the get go. Change the China tires. For one, there only rated at 65 MPH. I know that's about as fast as you need to go with that trailer but do you really trust the China One tires. I've got goodyears. They're heavier ply and speed rated to 99 MPH. If a tire blows on these tin can RV's it can damn near total the thing.

Last year I had 2 China tires blow at the same time. Towing 28,000 pounds on the interstate. The trailer actually handled real well with 6 good tires during the blowout. Never swayed or anything. Just sucks changing tires on side of interstate. Only had one spare too. I carry 2 spares now

We have never owned a camper before. I've read through some of the threads on here about toy haulers. Any and all opinions are welcomed. Thanks for the input so far
I really believe that 10' is not enough, truly. Had 2 Toyhaulers with 12' garage length and that's the bare minimum I would consider for a Pioneer 1000. Remember the garage needs to hold all the "stuff" you don't want to see, smell, or move around in the living area.

Well it's home. Mrs Waggin Tail talked the guy down $3,800 off his asking price. We feel like we got a pretty good deal. Thank y'all for all your responses

It pulled great coming home. I'm not too worried about it sitting low. I looked under the back corners and couldn't tell that it had ever scraped the road. Went across some pretty good dips and had plenty of clearance. Tires are a year and a half old. Made in Thailand. I'll probably replace those after this winter.
Now I got to figure out best way to strap the pioneer down. Was thinking the basket straps that go over the tires may work good.

My 2016 Carbon has a a 10.5’ garage. the P1K5 and my Talon X2 what ever one im hauling fits real nice, multiple trips. Its snug but fits Good and safe. Do I wish for a 12’ garage? yeah it would be nice but for that little extra room, then my 5er would loose living space or Id have to jump to a bigger rig. but like i said, they both fit good with the 10.5’ were happy with that.

I feel the same way. I can put stuff in the pioneer too. And wanted a bumper pull to have full space in truck bed for stuff if needed.

Congratulations! If you have concerns about the tail dragging, I've seen small wheels you can attach to the back of the trailer on the frame. Have fun with your TH.
