Hello, I'm mtbcoach

New owner, haven’t had a good enough excuse to get by the wife to own one before. I did way too much research before making the decision to go with a Pioneer, lurked this website several times to see what kind of support owners gave each other.

Been on 2 wheels for 50 years, off-roading in full size vehicles (mostly Land Cruisers), raced in a variety of events and trained/coached athletes for 30 years, fully retired.

Wish I’d discovered this sooner and prepared for the Pioneer Takover, I’d love to go but don’t think I have enough time to prepare, find accommodations but maybe next year...

Here is a little info about me to begin with!
Honda SxS ownership : Yes, this is my first.
I have owned, or currently own the following: UTV, Motorcycle
My off-road experience level is: Expert
My favorite place to ride is: Too many to list, depends on the vehicle

Thanks for everyone’s welcome. Yes, I (and my wife) understand the addiction of getting into such vehicles, I have the disease bad and already lurking other’s builds to see which direction I’m planning on going. Right now, it needs to say as work ready as I can keep it but I can’t deny seeing this new addiction becoming another expensive hobby.

I’d love to get to the Takeover but it looks like everything is booked within a reasonable driving distance. I’m still looking at options and hoping to find somewhere to sleep and participate in the mayhem.
