P500 Fuel pump P5 may seize

Hi, i receive a letter from Honda Canada to change the fuel pump! This is the same thing in USA?
Year 2019,2020.

Must've taken too many calls on it or something but sounds like they're owning up. Wonder if you could just get the fuel pump from the dealer and switch it out down the road if you need to?

Mines a 20, haven't gotten a letter.......yet.

Yes, on the top of the letter you have the vin Numbers for 2019,2020.

No, everything is free to the dealer. I dont need to touch it! Song’s good!

Just got my letter yesterday ..........mines a 2020 bought 9/30/2020. Letter says contact dealer and they will replace N/C.

Thanks for sharing! My P5 is a 2020 bought used so I will need to call Honda to see if mine is included in this recall. Not had any issues as of yet though. (Fingers crossed.)

Everything is fine now, the dealer change the fuel pump and i hope for the futur.

Got a return call on mine yesterday.. My P5 is included in the recall. My Honda dealer says they can schedule to replace it in January and to keep using it until then since I have had no issue to date. ( Fingers-crossed)

Um...isn't the ideal to prevent an issue? Some of these dealers just amaze me.

Picked miine up Thursday from dealer ........ everything seems good but then I was not having issues before replacement. Part number for the new replacement (good pump) is
06160-HL3-305.
