Ok.. the 2.5 gal fuel tank will not allow the tailgate to close.. if it were a couple investment shorter or more narrow it would work. But as it is... nope. Headed back to Amazon.
Good to know

4" at top and 8" at bottom. 2 gallon rotopax fits and 4 gallon, but 3 gallon is listed at 4.5" wide.
I've got a couple of he old style (well dad does) Koplin fuel pack we use to use on the 4 wheelers.. I believe they'll fit.

I'm going to look around town here and see what I can find. Not too optimistic.

This looks to be the same as JTW posted above. As pictured, fits with the tailgate up. Almost positive two will fit if put in at same angle as seat backs.

Nice. Is it 4 gallons? Name-brand? How much?

Stamped Pioneer Outdoor Products.
3.2 Gallon.
I've had this for 9 or 10 years. It was given to me for my 4 wheelers. Never used it.
I'll see if I can track them down.

Called number molded into tank, sold to Kolpin approx 10 years ago. Fuel packs are not listed on Kolpin site but found a number of them on Google search.

Well. This is what I came up with. Was having some sodas in the garage and saw the gas can from my sleds. So I built some brackets to mount them to the cage.

Has anyone tried putting an additional tank under the drivers side seat?

I'm thinking a fuel cell like on a race car?
