Go Pro password issue fixed

Have a GoPro 3+ that password would not reset using GoPro webpage, finally found a user submitted link on the community forum to an older firmware that worked.

I hadn't used my GoPro for a while, then broke it out back in Kanetucky for some vids.

Everything is gone.

Can't find the remote app on the playstore, and can't find GoPro studio. Luckily, i still have both on my phone/puter, but what happens after?
I know they have a GP studio replacement, but in the few minutes i messed with it, it seems more like a social media tool than anything.

Gopro for Android? Had to down load prior post firmware via PC to SD micro card, then drag folder called UPDATE to SD card. Then used app option for Add Camera and gave it new name and password. Glad I don’t have to buy a new camera now.
