Just thought I would post my new group that we have seen a couple of times live. I love any kind of Southern rock and these guys fit the bill, give them a listen on you tube if you get a chance and if you hear they are coming nearby I suggest you go see them. We saw them first at a Blackberry Smoke concert who we love for the same reason.

Something else that makes me feel good is that my daughter who is 30 and married likes them and Blackberry Smoke. She listened to all that Skynyrd growing up. I guess some of it sunk in . One of her favorite Steel Woods' songs is "Whatever it means to you" and she said it was one of her top 3 downloads.

If you ever get the chance to see Whiskey Myers in concert it's worth the 10-15 bucks they draw. Very similar sound- little rockier than steeldrivers maybe. They did a couple of cameos in Yellowstone if any of y'all caught that on Paramount network this summer.

The Steel Woods opened for them here in Jax Ms at Duling Hall. They do sound similar.
