Is that a 300 or a 5.56? If it's a 5.56, how does that suppressor hold up to the short barrel length? I have a 7.5" SBR upper that I wanted to suppress but was always worried about nuking the baffles.
I have a
Dear Air Wolfman on an
AR-9 pistol (9MM) from Brigade Mfg. It originally came with a 5.5" barrel, but I swapped it out for a
6" Angstadt Arms barrel because I needed just a little more room for the Dead Air muzzle brake for the suppressor.
I've put hundreds of 9MM rounds down range with that can and that short 6" barrel, and have never experienced any issues, including baffle strikes.
I really like the Wolfman. It can suppress 9mm, 5.56, 300BLK, 7.62×39, 350 Legend, and .357 Mag. I have muzzle brakes on the AR9, an AR15 SBR in 5.56, and even put a booster setup on the Glock 19. The nice thing about the Wolfman is that, if you're gonna run it on a handgun, the front third spins off and you move the front cap to the shorter version of the can (7.5" down to 5.13"). It's wipe compatible too.
That can on a 300AAC with subsonic ammo would be damn near as quiet as a church mouse.
